Sally June Koning

Sally June Koning, age 79, of Glenn, went into the everlasting grip of her Lord on Saturday, November 20, 2021. She was an actively involved member of Covenant Presyterian Church. Sally worked in medical research for many years at Upjohn (Pfizer). She and her husband went on many mission trips and loved supporting various mission causes. Preceding her in death was her husband of 20 years, Alfred Koning. She is lovingly remembered by her stepchildren, Barbara Thompson, Alan and Susan Koning, William Koning, Cheryl Koning, David and Debra Koning; four step-grandchildren, Stephanie and John Gibson, Tom Koning, Michelle Koning, Ben Koning; many step-great-grandchildren; stepmother, Marilyn Boukma; brother, Karl and Nancy Boukma; nephews and nieces, Joshua and Jillian Boukma, Joseph and Trisha Boukma; great-nephews, Dillon Boukma, Logan Boukma, Landon Boukma, Arden Boukma, Ethan Boukma; great-niece, Taylor Boukma; and many cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Kenneth Klett officiating. Burial Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, November 30, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
