Sally Ellen Boarts

Sally Ellen Boarts, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Boarts; daughter, Denise Richer; son, Kenneth Richer; grandson, Jason Walker; great-granddaughter, Audrey Miller; brothers: Bernie Clark and Jerry Clark. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cheryl (Scott Bumstead) Walker, Debby Bauer, Keith (Melissa Chaffins) Boarts; stepchildren, Bernie (Sue) Boarts, Carole (Jerry) Skar, Ed (Tina) Boarts; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Clark, Rose Boarts. Sally will be greatly missed by her family for her sense of humor, her strong and stubborn spirit and love for her family. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 30, at 3:30 PM at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, MI, officiated by Pastor Bruce Wilson. Relatives and friends may meet the family for an hour prior to the service at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice.
