Ryleigh Morgan Stull

Ryleigh Morgan Stull, age 24, of Rockford, passed away surrounded by her family and friends on Thursday, June 15, 2023, after a brief illness. Ryleigh was indeed a light in this world with an indescribable mind. She held a determination and passion for everything, especially in her academics. Ryleigh studied at the University of Michigan to obtain a bachelor’s degree in both Neuroscience, as well as in Women and Gender Studies, which was followed by her studies for a master’s degree at Rutgers University for Women’s Health. She hoped to return to the city she loved so dearly, Ann Arbor, for her doctoral studies in Public Health. She had a true gift of advocacy for those who felt as if they had no voice and had so much more to offer in this field; however, the impact she made in her 24 years of life still stands strong. She was a loving person, and being such an avid reader, could often see past the cover of a person. Her family and friends meant the world to her, and she would never hesitate to defend them and share how proud she was of who they are. Her family could not be prouder of her academic achievements, but above that, they could not be more proud of who she was as a person. She will be especially missed by all who knew her for her drive, passion, and wit; but most of all, she will be missed for the entirety of who she was. She had a spark so strong that even though she is no longer here with us, it will go on in her absence through all of those who had the honor of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Barbara Stull, Marylee Pischner; grandfather, Barry Pischner. She will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Bob and Melissa Stull; sister, Tara Stull; grandfather, Robert Stull; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, June 21 at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont. Relatives and friends may meet the family for visitation on Tuesday, June 20 from 4 – 7 pm and on Wednesday from 10 – 11 am prior to service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Women’s Resource Center in Grand Rapids or AYA Youth Collective- Grand Rapids.
