Ruth Ann Wheeler, age 67, of Hudsonville, passed peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 and into the arms of Jesus after a valiant battle with cancer.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Mary Hirkaway; three siblings, Ray, Paul, Estelle.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Bill; daughter, Tracy and Kirk Papke; grandchildren, Zachary and Mikayla; brother, Morrie Hirkaway; sisters-in-law, Joan Hirkaway, Nancy and Bill Baldwin, Carol Hillary, Sherry and Lon Waterman, Pam and Dave Bogucki; adoptive son, Steve Woolman; good friends, Salle DeWindt, Debi Szabo, Kelli VanderMolen; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday, November 25, 2019 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf (Allendale), 6651 Scott St., 49401 with Pastor Jim Maness officiating.  Interment Blendon Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 10 to 10:50 at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Life Stream Church or the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion.
