Ruth Maxon

MAXON - Ruth M. Maxon (nee Helsel), age 91, of Sparta peacefully entered her heavenly home on May 28, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Grace Helsel; sisters, Elizabeth Powers and Eleanor Sjogren. She is survived by her sister, Janet Erickson of Sparta, and brother, Richard (Judy) Helsel of Sparta; many nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Sparta High School and Kendall School of Design. She worked many years as an interior designer in Kansas and Oklahoma. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Ruth M.
