Ruth Kay Schregardus

Ruth K. Schregardus, age 77, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 4, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant twins, and her sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Nelson; children Ricky (Kimberly) Schregardus, Kay Carlberg, Michael (Valerie) Schregardus; six grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sisters-in-law Judith VerStrate and Janice Schregardus; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11am at Unity Reformed Church, 4450 Poinsettia SE, Kentwood, with visiting one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at church. In lieu of flowers, consider a contribution to the family to help with expenses.

My Deepest Condolences to Nels and the Schregardus family on your loss. Ruth was a special lady who always had a smile that would melt my heart every time I saw her. I loved being around her as she could always make me feel better if I was feeling down. I know she is with the angels as she is one herself!
