Ruth Jean Temple, age 85, of Jenison passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur Hilzey, Burns Renton and Richard Temple; brother, Jim Ayers; sister, Lucinda Weaver. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tom and Julie Hilzey, Laurie and Steve Humphrey, Michael and Marcie Hilzey; stepchildren, Richard and Lisa Temple, Cindy and Jim Johnson; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary “Mickie” and Richard Burgess, Nancy Kelley; brothers-in-law, Merlin “Jim” Temple, John Malinowski; special caretaker, Tammy Belke; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Pine Hill Cemetery in Kentwood, MI. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Holland.
