Ruth Ann Stehouwer

Ruth Ann Stehouwer, age 75, of Jenison, entered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, October 25, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Alice Peuler; brother and sister-in-law, Maurice and Pat Peuler; brother-in-law, Larry Hilldore. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, James, Sr.; son, James, Jr. and Shirley Stehouwer; daughter, Julie Ann Stehouwer; grandchildren, Danny Scudder, Ashley Kurti, Adam Stehouwer, Brett Patrick; brother, Ray and Shirley Peuler; sister, Betty Hilldore; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Bridget Stehouwer, Gail and Joe Jacques, Roger and Connie Stehouwer, Sharon Stehouwer; many nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful and loving mother who was loved by many. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 11 am at Rosewood Reformed Church, 2795 Rosewood, Jenison, with Rev. Howard Moths officiating. A luncheon will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Rosewood Reformed Church. Jim and Family, Just knowing Ruth from the campground was a real blessing. She was a very wonderful lady. I was very lucky to have known her for the 7 yrs. I have been your neighbor.I Loved how she would come over and have coffee with me and she would tell me how lucky she was to have you as her husband and family. She will be deeply missed.

I love you mom with all my heart all that you taught me and all that you are. You taught me that loving someone is being loyal being there for them never turn your back forgive and forgiving others as well as myself.
