Russell 'Russ' Jay Armstrong, age 59 of Newaygo passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013. Russ is survived by his children, Mitchell Armstrong & Minda (David) Durell of Grand Rapids; his mother, Maxine Armstrong of Magnolia, TX; brothers, Tom (Phyllis) Armstrong, Michael Armstrong, Jack (Cheryl) Armstrong, Roger Armstrong, Phillip (Ann) Armstrong and Ted Armstrong; and his sister, Betsy Ebersal. Russ was preceded by his father and one brother, Jerry. Honoring his wishes cremation will take place. A Memorial Dinner will be held on Saturday, February 23 from 2-5 pm at the Rockford Ambulance, 8450 Shaner Ave. NE (at 10 Mile).
