VANDER SYDE (Greenville) - Ruegena Vander Syde, age 82, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill Vander Syde; parents, Andrew and Rena Baker; grandchildren, Eric and Caleb. Ruegena is survived by her children, Dennis Lee (Roberta) Vander Syde, Gregory Alan (Nancy) Vander Syde, Donald Ray (Wendy)Vander Syde, and Geffery Dean Vander Syde; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sister, Ardys Manzey; brothers, Lloyd (Sharon) Baker, Lee Baker, Norman Baker. The Funeral Service for Mrs. Vander Syde will be held Monday, January 20, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont with Pastor John Paepke officiating.
