Rubin James Werner

Rubin Werner, age 19, of Belmont, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Fred and Hope Werner; his grandparents, Busha (Jude) and Jaja (Mel), Dave Werner; great aunt Trudy Werner; uncles and aunts, Scott and Connie L. Knappen, Melvin and Tammy Keely; and several cousins. Rubin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patsy Werner, step-grandmother Nancy Werner, and several great grandparents. Rubin was an avid video gamer, an action movie buff, lego enthusiast, loved rock n’ roll music, animals, Taco Bell, KFC, and spicy food, was a car enthusiast, and was kind, loving, and stubborn. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, 1 pm at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, with a visitation one hour prior to the start of the funeral service. The family requests that those who attend the visitation and/or funeral wear casual attire.
