Roy Stanfield

Roy L. Stanfield, age 75, of Byron Center, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Imojean Stanfield, and siblings, Billy Stanfield and Kimmie McKnight. Roy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 13 years, Lewann; daughters, Tina (Gary) Geyer, Nichole (Steve) Zomberg, Holly (Ryan) Bax, Kelley Stanfield; five grandchildren; siblings, Barbara (Norman) Reed, Nancy (Fred) Cramer, Linda (Dale) Marquez, Kathy (Patrick) Shea, David (Ann) Stanfield, Debbie (Ron) Joseph, Randy (Lovera) Stanfield, Sandra (Ralph) Edwards; sister-in-law, Ann (Bill) Gillis; many nieces and nephews. Roy proudly served his country in the US Army. He had a good sense of humor with a big heart. A memorial service with military honors will be held on Friday, July 8th, 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial Kent Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 10-11 am at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
