Roy Andrew Keiser

Roy Andrew Keiser, age 89, of Jenison, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 19, 2023 and is now reunited with the love of his life Shirley, of 70 years, who preceded him just 7 months ago. Roy was a kind and loving dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He proudly served his country in the US Navy and was enlisted for 7 years. Over the years he enjoyed many years at Lincoln Lake and in Croton on the Muskegon River. In the winter, they always looked forward to traveling to Florida, where many friendships and memories were made. Most recently, he was blessed with a wonderful community of people at The Lodge at Allen Springs in Jenison where he resided. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Linda and Craig Neitzel, Janice and Maury Dikker, Brenda and Rich Gruszcynski; grandchildren, Erin and Ryan O’Connor, Drew and Kristi Neitzel, Shannon Berens, Kylie and Gerrid Mouw, Adam and Kayla Gruszcynski, Josh Gruszcynski and fiancée, Emma Crumpley; nine great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Linda Keiser; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Connie Nelsen; several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. At Roy’s request cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held with military honors at Graceland Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Association or to Faith Hospice.
