Nichols, Rosemary NICHOLS:  Rosemary (Szczepanski) Nichols, age 82, of Grandville, passed away unexpectedly but very peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, December 27, 2011.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Nichols in 1989.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Randy and Margie Nichols, Cynthia “CJ” and George Brocker; grandchildren, Portia (Brocker) and Ben Peacey residing in Australia, Gina Brocker and Gary Gaughan residing in Ireland, Felicia (Nichols) and Ryan Vliek of Kalamazoo; brother, Ted Szczepanski; her beloved cats; and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Friday at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 12:30 – 1:30 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Crashes Landing Cat Rescue and Placement Center or Centre De Sante Lumiere for Haiti medical support c/o Dr. Bill Ten Haaf at Georgetown Medical Center.
