Rosemary (Patin) Frey, age 91, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Frey; sons, Jerold, Jeffrey, and daughter Rosemarie Rector.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joann and Jeffrey Zimmer, Jackie and Jim Hill, Jean Pollie, Jane Frey and Jim Schipper, John and Lisa Frey, Jim and Mary Frey, and Jill Frey; 28 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor Frey, Virginia Patin, Bernadette Thomas, Mary Anne Patin; many nieces and nephews.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 1, at 11 a.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 6390 Belmont Ave NE, Belmont, with Rev. Father Chuck Swartz presiding.  The burial will take place at Fairplains Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Sunday, June 30, from 5-7 p.m. at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont, with a rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to HELP Pregnancy Aid.
