Rose T. Pyke

Pyke, Rose T. Rose T. Pyke, age 93, of Wyoming, died peacefully with her family at her side Tuesday, January 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Pyke in 1967. Rose was a strong and independent mother, “father” and friend, who will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Harry Jr. and Janet Pyke, Ronald and Lori Pyke, Patricia Platschorre, Robert and Dorothy Pyke; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Stacey and Kirk Broom, Carey Pyke, Heather and Kevin Cappon, Kevin Pyke, Stephanie and Tony Pearson (Colin, Alexa, Nola), Tom and Kendra Platschorre (T.J., Kaleb), Bryan Pyke. A funeral service will be held Saturday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Father Godfrey Onyekwere officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday 5-8 with a Rosary at 8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Mary Magdalen Church, Building Fund.
