Rose DesJardins

Rose Elizabeth DesJardins age 62, of Comstock Park, MI passed away on September 29, 2017 at her home after a year and a half long heroic fight against appendix cancer. Rose will be remembered for her caring spirit, infectious smile and love for her family and friends. Rose was born in Muskegon, MI to Clarence and Doris (Krueger) Kuzma on January 31, 1955. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She is survived by her husband, Tom DesJardins of Comstock Park, MI. Her sons, Michael (Stephanie) Moore of Montague, MI; Jason (Sarah) Moore of Comstock Park, MI; step-daughters, Paige DesJardins of Houston, TX; Taylor DesJardins of Comstock Park, MI, as well as the father of her sons, Mike (Twila) Moore of Montague, MI. Her "precious angels" - her grandchildren; Madison, Michael, Carson, & Chase Moore. Her sister, Susan (Harvey) Levitan of Muskegon, MI. Her brothers, Clarence (Bonnie) Kuzma of Muskegon, MI and John (Jan) Kuzma of Muskegon, MI. Her dear mother-in law, Marilyn DesJardins of East Lansing, MI; sisters in law; Cathy DesJardins of Boulder, CO and Betsy Garcia of East Lansing, MI. Special aunt, Linda Krueger of Allegan, MI. A host of devoted nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Joe Kuzma; brother-in-law, George Levy; several aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE. Her family will greet relatives and friends, from 2-4 PM, Sunday at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to her grandchildren's schools; Montague Area Public Schools and Belmont Elementary.
