Rose Aron, age 84, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Rose was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a wonderful homemaker, always preparing delicious three-course meals that brought the family together around the table. As a mother, she was constantly on the move—cooking, cleaning, and caring for her home—yet she always made time to cherish and nurture her children and grandchildren. Rose also worked part-time as a beautician, sharing her creativity and warmth with those around her. She had a deep love for animals and enjoyed playing games with friends and family. Her gentle spirit shone through in everything she did—she was known for her patience and rarely, if ever, showed anger. One of her greatest joys was bowling with her girlfriends in a local league. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Veronica Brettschneider. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, John Aron; daughters, Judy (Tab) Bradford and Cheryl Tyler; grandchildren, Luke and Megan Bradford, Zachary and Dazy Bradford, Jonathan Bradford, Alexis Tyler, Lydia Tyler; great-grandchildren, Fallon, Bennett, and Tatum; brother, Matthew (Gail) Brettschneider and brother-in-law, Frank (Rita) Aron. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 11, at 1:00 p.m. at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, MI. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday from 12 p.m-1p.m prior to the service at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Dementia Society of Michigan.
