I am sorry you are without both your mother and father,Peter, Eddie, Alice, and Richard. Your mother loved to tell Uncle Carl, and me about you in very glowing words which she had a knack for using well. She herself glowed when she talked about you.
Uncle Carl passed away on Jan. 7, 2018.
I would enjoy hearing from you. As I typed your names, I had a few memories of you. Peter, I think I saw you 10years ago at grandma Nell’ s 90 Th Birthday. You sent us a beautiful CD.
Love.
Great aunt Dorothy

Farewell to a kind, compassionate, special soul. You brought out the best in all of us and pushed us all to reach our potential and to catch up with our destiny, whether we were running after it or fleeing the opposite way. Thank you for the precious mark you left on our lives. Rest in peace and eternal grace.

Love is Simple, Love is Kindness, and I want to thank the Army of Saints at Parkwood who loved my mom simply, kindly, and without judgement.
Thank You
Quyana. Yupik for thank you.
Camai! Greetings from Alaska !
As my mom often identified me as Alice from Alaska, I thought I might share some of that with you. My dad gave me the gift of loving nature and my mom gave me the gift of artistic thought. So I would often describe what I observed in my yard on any given day in our phone conversations.
I would tell her about the six foot blaze of fireweed, pink in summer, fiery red in autumn, that grows in the meadow next to my house, but that the moose always eat MY fireweed that I grow in my front yard so all I get is a bunch of weeds without flowers !
I would tell her of the soft alpine glow on the mountains and the hoar frost that lays thick on the trees and seems to rime all it touches with diamonds.
....how it glows in the fierce moonlight in a velvet night thick with stars.
I would tell her of the moose that recently calved in my yard, the coat a deep lovely roan, chestnut, or Cinimin color....and how they eat all my flowers ! But I love them anyway.
Just like I love her.
