Rosie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Vickie Karas, Linda Huls, Frank (Laura) Riccobono, John (Jane) Riccobono; grandchildren, Evan Karas and Andrea (Levi Minor) Karas, Chad, Gabe and Casey Huls, Julia (Simon) Jarzembowski, Haley (Kyler) Malstrom, Austin Riccobono, Roman Riccobono; great grandchildren, Jamison, Gia, David, Lucia; siblings, Angie (Ken) Berg, Joe (Jane) Noto; several nieces and nephews.
Rosie graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1951 and married Sam in 1955. Rosie’s working career started at Liberty Theater in downtown Grand Rapids. She later worked as a timekeeper for Lear before spending many years in clothing sales, where she enjoyed hosting home parties and connecting with customers.  In her later years, she was very involved with craft shows using her crocheting, sewing, and knitting skills with her specialty being scrubbies.
Rosie loved her family and was dedicated to them, especially her grandchildren. She was always a sharp dresser and loved her time in the sun. She particularly enjoyed spending a lot of time with her best friend and aunt, Angie Mills, in Kailua Bay, Hawaii.
Funeral services will be held 11 am on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont with Pastor David Christian officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 8, from 10 am until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Corewell Health Hospice
