Ronald William Ziebarth was born on July 10, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois to his proud parents, William and Ingrid Ziebarth. He grew up in Park Forest, Illinois, with his little sister, Karen (Gary) Betters, and attended the Village Bible Church throughout his early years. His experiences in the church had a profound impact on his life and his choice in his teen years to “walk with God” became a permanent standard, directing his path and choices throughout his life. As a teen, he especially enjoyed his church’s youth group and his sister remembers that when she would walk by his bedroom, she would often notice him studying his Bible.

After graduating from Rich East High School in 1964, Ron went to study at Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO. After some time there, he transferred to the Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music in Michigan where he finished his Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies. While in school there, he met and fell in love with Nancy Edith Price who was working at Radio Bible Class, the organization now known for “My Daily Bread” devotionals.

Ron married Nancy on August 10, 1968, at the Village Bible Church in Park Forest, Illinois. Together they started their life with Nancy working to help put Ron through the remainder of his schooling. After earning his bachelor’s degree, Ron applied for and was accepted into the Seminary excited about his goal of becoming a pastor. However, God saw fit to begin blessing the young couple with children. They were blessed with three children: Steve Ziebarth, Dan (Sarah) Ziebarth, and Michelle (Chad) Henry.

While working at Kelvinator with a young family, Ron met Gary Ortiz, who would become not only his business partner in a janitorial company, but a life-long friend as well. After some time working together, the two partners decided to branch out on their own and Ron continued on as sole proprietor of his own cleaning business, known as Ziebarth Services. While owning Ziebarth Services Ron started AAA Action Carpet Cleaning and a hardwood refinishing business.

After Nancy died in 1992, Ron married Bonnie Fuchs on July 12, 1997. Bonnie had three children: Ryan Fuchs, Chad (Christina) Fox, and Lindsey (David) Fuchs-Khalil. Ron and Bonnie together finished raising Bonnie’s children. The couple enjoyed traveling to Israel and other destinations including Australia, Italy, and other European countries. This wonderful couple enjoyed their winter home in Placida, Florida. Grandchildren were a priority, and they would travel as often as possible to see them. This marriage united two families with adult and nearly adult children who ended up becoming good friends. God richly blessed Ron as patriarch of a large family including six children, 22 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Chapel Pointe, 3350 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, 49426. Burial will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park. Dear Bonnie and families, Sue and I are so sorry to hear of Ron's passing and for your loss. I met Ron at a new church we were visiting in Wyoming, MI. He was in the throes of tumultuous and life changing events; the terminal illness of his first wife and the near death car accident involving his daughter. Ron and I became friends during this period of time, reading scripture and praying together for God's intervention. God did miraculously heal his daughter but chose to take Nancy to Glory. Throughout the years, Ron and I would talk on the phone or get together on occasion, but life events eventually lead us in different directions. I am deeply saddened to know of his passing, but I am assured that he is enjoying being in the midst of Jesus and our Heavenly Father. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Dear Bonnie, We're so saddened by Ron's passing. I am so grateful that God gave me Ron as a friend and Christian brother! He was always a better friend to me than me toward him. I will miss him and his friendly ways. May Christ grace you with peace and contentment in this time. Love Sam (and Jill)
