Ronald Spanninga

Ronald Spanninga, age 60, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. He enjoyed the outdoors enjoying the beauty of nature and was also fond of animals and his pets. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Alice.  He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters and brothers, Lori and Michael Morehouse, Beth and Naveed Hamid, Russ Spanninga; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.  Memorial services will be held Friday 2 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Rev. Dale Fopma officiating.  Interment Maplewood Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 1:30 to the time of the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Ottawa County Humane Society or Hospice of Holland.
