Ronald Leroy Smith

Ronald Leroy Smith, age 86, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021. He proudly served in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He loved spending time with his “tribe” and watching people and sharing advice and insights. He was a loving friend and Dad. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra; granddaughter, Tracey. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Kathy (Grahame) Allen, Debra Kelly, Jay (Janet) Smith; grandchildren: Danielle Lampp, Zaine Gotwalt, Ashley Smith, Casey Smith, John Kelly, James Kelly; great grandchildren, Drake, Julia, Didra, Nova, and Rain. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Fort Custer National Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Legion Post 208.
