Ronald L. Vogel

Ronald L. Vogel, age 60, of Grand Rapids passed into his eternal home on January 13, 2022. Ron was the fourth child of Cornelius and Rayda Vogel, who predeceased him. He is survived by his siblings, Ted and Bethany Vogel of Holland, MI, Laura and Roger Monsma of Portage, MI, and Steve and Jane Vogel of Tucson, AZ, and their families.

A happy, childlike person his whole life, Ron lived at home with his loving parents until his mid-30’s and at Pine Rest Christian Homes thereafter. He was often described as a joy to know by those who helped care for him. We want to thank the excellent staffs of Pine Grove home and Holland Home Raybrook skilled nursing for their loving care of Ron.

Visitation will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 20, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM at MKD Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, MI, with Pastor JB Wernlund of Harderwyk Christian Reformed Church officiating.
