KERR - Mr. Ronald H. Kerr aged 78 passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother, Helen Larson; father, Tom Kerr Sr.; and brother, Gary Kerr. Surviving are his wife of 19 years, Jackie; children, Kelly Brooks, Kristi (John) DeLaat, Nicole (Tom) Bergman; stepson, Shawn Schwartz; grandchildren, Kasey (Bob) VanWieren, Kourtney Lenard, Jacob DeLaat, Christopher (Beth) Brooks, Michael and Gabriel Fontenot, Trevor, Mila and Owen Bergman; great grandchildren, Kaiden Van Wieren and Peyton Kornelis; brother, Tom (Marva) Kerr; mother-in-law, Marie Bennett; several nieces and nephews. Ron was a member of the American Legion Post 208 for more than 30 years. He began his real estate career at Buehler Realty then branched off on his own and began Leiter, Kerr Real Estate. He loved to hunt, fish and was an avid golfer. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his faithful companion, Max. A memorial service will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave., with visitation one hour prior to the service.
