Ronald Joseph Lechtanski

Ronald (Hippy) Joseph Lechtanski, born September 28th, 1954 passed on October 2nd, 2019, with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Lechtanski Sr., Ruth (Skip) nee Zemaitis and Richard Husted, his brother Michael (Lucky) Lechtanski, and brother in law David Favreau. He is survived by his brother Walt Lechtanski Jr., and sisters, Terri (Bob) Szotko, Joni Jones and Scott Smigiel, Annette (Toni) Favreau and Tim Hern. Nieces and nephews Bob (Gretchen) Szotko and family, Kerry Smith and Denny Langlois and family, Katie Szotko and family, Zachary Szotko, and special nephew Lucas Smith.

Ron enjoyed watching sports. And like his father, fishing, bowling, poker and golf. And he was good at all of them. He was a painter who also enjoyed tending bar. He was a good cook and a great dancer. He was a member of several local Polish and Lithuanian clubs. As in life, Ron was close to his brother Mike. With their passing so close together, a celebration of life will be held for both Ron and Mike at Sons and Daughters Lithuanian Hall on Saturday, October 26th from 2-6 pm.
