Ronald Elzinga, age 85, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 62 years, Elaine Elzinga; children, Curtis and Kimberly Elzinga, Lisa and Steven Kuiper; grandchildren, Brandon and Yvonne Elzinga, Tyler and Joanne Elzinga, Josiah and Samantha Kuiper, Katelyn Kuiper; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Allen Elzinga, Terry and Sandy Elzinga; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Ridgewood Christian Reformed Church, 1571 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Pastor Michael Ten Haken officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
