Roger Zoerner, age 93 of Kentwood, Michigan passed away after a short illness Sunday, December 14, 2025. Roger was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He worked hard for many years in tool and die to provide for his family, and to give them the opportunities to travel and enjoy life. Roger loved to travel around the U.S. and camp out with his family in Ludington State Park. He loved to fish and share his fishing knowledge with his family who meant the world to him. He was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Zoerner; parents, Russell and Corinne Zoerner; brother, James Zoerner.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years, Marie; his children, Jim Zoerner, Janice Hall; his grandchildren, Brandon, Katrina, Brody, Shaun; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Elias, Braxton, Presley, Zara, Karter; many nieces and nephews and church friends.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Carolyn Cammenga officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
