Roger Laskus

Roger Edward Laskus, age 90, of Jenison, was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, July 19, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mary Lou, and his parents, Carl and Genevieve Laskus.  He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Debbie and Glenn Kretchmer, Mike and Peggy Laskus, Peggy Wing; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and special cousin, Ron Peters.  Roger served valiantly in the U.S. Army.  He was quick witted and accepting of others.  Roger was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and worked for many years at Walter Hagen and Steelcase.  He was an avid outdoorsman and a kind, loving, caring husband, father and grandfather.  According to Roger’s wishes, no services will be held, and cremation has taken place.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of your choice.
