Roger Kauffman

Roger Stone Kauffman, age 85, of Wyoming, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020. Roger proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a career commercial artist where his creativity shined. Roger was a dedicated family man who reveled in laughing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  His good humor was only rivaled by his innate ability to make those around him feel loved. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Linda Weidenfeller, Steven and Mary Kauffman, Karen and Robert Rogers; grandchildren: Michael and Lisa McLean, Nicholas Weidenfeller, Jenna Weidenfeller, Christopher Rogers, Derrick Rogers, Terri and Joshua Hotelling, Lori and Michael Brown, Jennifer (fiancé Joel) Kauffman, Kelly and Eddie Monarrez; fifteen great grandchildren; sisters: Lorana Gleason, Jane and Gordon Walkington; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Roger and Marilyn Line, Janet and Donald Volk, David Line; many nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Donald Jensen. Burial at Balcom Cemetery, West Tuttle Rd., Ionia, MI. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. at the cemetery with a graveside remembrance to follow at 2:00 p.m. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Parkinson's Foundation (parkinsons.org).  The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to the staff of Vista Springs Wyoming for their loving care of Roger.
