Roger DeRidder

Roger DeRidder, aged 82 of Kentwood, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy White and all of his brothers and sisters. He will be remembered by his wife of 60 years, Ellen DeRidder; children, Kim (Mike) Polise, Mary (Doug) Alderink, Craig DeRidder; son-in-law, Ron (Pam) White; grandchildren Jamie Herman, Becky (Marvin) Worden, Steven White, Kevin (Dana) Herman, Brett White, Erica (Kyle) Holstege, Megan Alderink; four great-grandsons; sisters-in-law, Pat DeRidder, Annette DeRidder, Aileen Nichols; many nieces and nephews. He was deeply loved and will be missed by his family and friends. Funeral services for Roger will be held at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Wyoming), 4031 Clyde Park SW Friday at 10:30 am with Pastor Mark Bergsma officiating. Interment in Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the Wyoming Chapel Thursday 5-8 pm and Friday from 9:30-10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Parkinson’s Foundation or Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.
