Rodney Dale Bosker, age 66, of Allendale, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, May 24, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lenora; and his brother, Jerry Lee Bosker. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Sherry Bosker; children, Nick (Shellee) Bosker, Chris (April) Bosker; grandchildren, Jayden, Preston, Payton, and one granddaughter on the way; siblings, Nelson (Mary) Bosker, Carroll (Linda) Bosker, and Ruth Peters; in-laws, Jerry (Marlene) Carter Sr.; brother-in-law, Jerry Carter Jr.; sister-in-law, Robbi (Tom) Boeve; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Rodney was a lifetime resident of Allendale and a proud member of the first graduating class of Allendale High School in 1972.  He will be remembered as an athlete who loved playing baseball, football, basketball, track, and cross country. He also loved his time spent coaching his sons’ youth baseball teams. He was an avid fan of all Michigan sports teams. Furthermore, he enjoyed his time gardening and providing grown goods to family and friends. In early years, he loved his fastpitch softball and bowling. Later in life, he loved his monthly card game with his buddies. Most recently, he loved spending time with his children and their growing families, and sharing stories about them with friends.
