Rodney August Beduhn

Rodney Beduhn of Wyoming, MI left his earthly body on December 16, 2023. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his father and mother-in-law, siblings and their spouses, and son-in-law, Richard College Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Audrey Beduhn (McConnell), his three daughters, Kimberly (Keith) Caminiti, Jill College, and Jenny Church. He leaves behind his grandchildren and their spouses, and great-grandchildren who were his pride and joy. Rod was a proud veteran of the US Navy and retired from the Department of Defense. Soon after retirement he spent 17 years volunteering with the Wyoming Police Department. He and his wife shared a love of antiques, travel, and of course their family. Rodney loved each of us well during his life. He valued honesty, respect, and quality time above all else and taught those values to his family. He will be remembered fondly by all those who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who love him. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 29, 2 p.m. at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive, Belmont, with Rev. Paul Caminiti officiating. Burial will take place at Blythefield Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Interim Healthcare Hospice.
