WALTERS - Mr. Robert "Bob" Walters aged 49of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012. He was preceded in death by his son Tony. Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Lori; children, RJ (Karen) Walters, Patrick (Alyssa) Walters, Nick (Sara) Walters, Joshua Walters, Casey (Amber Carmichael) Walters, Destyni Walters, Breanna Walters; grandchildren, Blake, Jasmine, Alijah and Messiah; his father, RC (Sue) Walters; his mother, Mary Walters; brothers, Tom (Robin Tonkin) Walters, Patrick Walters, Chad (Christine) Walters; stepchildren, Eric Hinckley, Jennifer (Johna Powers) Prince, Shaun Leech; also surviving are Lori's parents, L.D. and Gayle Peoples; her brother, Glen (Irene) Peoples and her grandmother, Ila Peoples along with several step brothers; step sisters; nieces and nephews. Special thanks for the care and support Bob received from the Doctors and Nurses at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. A time of gathering will be held from 4 to 6 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE., Belmont. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the funeral home to help offset the on going expenses of Bob's family.
