Sad to hear the Dr Streelman has passed. Many fond memories of discussions with the hopelessly mute while under his care. I still miss the artwork cartoons and posters that were on the walls and ceiling of Dr. Streelman's office. Beyond his always asking questions that required more than a simple yes or no answer while one's mouth was open and dental instruments in place, Dr. Streelman always made it fun to go to the dentist. My best to the family. Charlie Harag

Dear Merriam and family, The word "mentor" was coined to describe Dr. Robert Streelman. I had the PRIVILEDGE to be his friend. He taught me so much about life and helping others. His voice was always for the betterment of others, not for himself. He was the original "Silent Bell". Merriam, we cherish the wonder "MICHIGAN" throw quilt that you made for us . It will be a reminder for us of you and Bob and good deeds all around. God Bless you all. Mary and Larry Marcotte Sorry we could not come today as a stroke illness intervened.

This world is a better place because "Doc Streelman" was in it. He left a great legacy and will be missed by so many. Very sorry to hear of his passing. I learned a lot from him in our Men's Sabbath School Class he taught for years & considered him a friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Merriam and the family. "Old Bob" was a good friend. He and Merriam along with my wife Ann and myself enjoyed many good times together in Michigan &, here in Florida until they moved to California. Looking forward to the soon second coming when we can all be together again.

In addition to the many accomplishments, services, and leadership roles, well served by our long time Friend—Bob, I need to speak up for our Primary Sabbath School Class, which Bob taught in the late 1950s at GR SDA Central Church. It was a group of lively boys who when put together might be a handful. As I recall Bob engaged us at our young level and kept our attention. While his service to us may have been a blip on his screen, it was an important thing he did for us and we honor his memory. God bless the Streelman Family at this time of loss. While we can understand only to some degree your feelings, we want YOU to know that WE care. We look forward to the soon return of the Lord Jesus to meet Him in the sky. Love and Blessings to you, Jack and Jan Nash
