Robert Schell

SCHELL- Robert Lee Schell aged 88, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Harry and Frieda Schell; sister, Yvonne Schell Walker. Surviving are his children, Bob (Donna) Schell, Cindy (Bill) Clark, Rick (Kathy) Schell; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren. Bob was the owner/operator of Bob Schell's Welding for 50 years and retired in 1995. He was an avid outdoorsman, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing on the Jordan River. He enjoyed snowmobile racing in the early 70's with Jim Adema and was a stock car mechanic back in the 60's. He was also the head crew chief of Team K&R Racing. Bob was known for his expertise in welding and mechanics. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 26 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE. His family will greet relatives and friends Thursday, from 9:00 AM- 10:00 AM. Internment at Fairview Cemetery in Mancelona.
