I also worked with Bob at Steelcase when he was in charge of Accounts Payable. I have many treasured memories and stories about that time. Bob always wanted to be friends with everyone. He was an exceptional individual in overcoming his challenges and setting the example for others. Rest in Peace.

Bob and I have been friends for over 50 years. We double dated together, went camping together, played bumper pool in his basement, went bobsledding together, and made our Profession of Faith together with a special dinner at Scotty's with both our parents. After high school we didn't see each other very often, until he came to work at Steelcase. Bob had accomplished so much during those years, member of the national team working for more inclusion into the workplace for the handicapped, college degree and a professor at Aquinas College, married Carol a wonderful wife and mother. Bob always wanted to accomplish everything he did on his own. He was independent with a great drive to succeed and never let his handicap interfere with his goals. Bob, you will be missed, and it was my great pleasure to have you as my lifetime friend. Barry
