Robert Paul Waichum

Robert Paul Waichum Jr., age 77, of Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He loved being outdoors, drag racing, quadding, and also had his pilots license and flew for Angel Flight. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 26 years, Beth; daughters: Elain and Norman Richardson, Lisa and Andrew Allison; grandchildren: Ellison Richardson, Tyner Richardson, Carrie Allison, Katie (Evan) Nixon; brother and sister: David and Christine Waichum, Julie and John Davis; nieces and nephews; Mark Waichum, Lori Fenstamaker, Jason Waichum. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Geraldine Waichum. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier presiding. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, and also one hour prior to the service at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. John Vianney Church.
