Robert P. Mulder

Robert Peter Mulder, aged 88 of Grand Rapids went to be with his Lord on Sunday, October 16, 2016.  He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Mulder; and brother and sister-in-law, Harley and Geneva Mulder.  He is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Lisa and Daniel Youngs, Eric and Traci Mulder; grandchildren, Zachary Youngs, Jenna Youngs and fiancé, Jordan Marchewka, Emily Youngs, Cameron Mulder, Eleahna Mulder; brother-in-law, Melbourne and Donna Krul; and several nieces and nephews.  Bob proudly served as an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War where he was awarded the Purple Heart. Funeral services for Bob will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE with Pastor Lew VanderMeer officiating.  Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to Kindred Hospice.
