Robert Oosterheert

Robert Lee Oosterheert, age 80, of Byron Center, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 22, 2024. He was the owner/operator of Oosterheert Bros. Siding. Robert enjoyed his family’s cabin in the UP where he loved snowmobiling and riding ATV. He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan, and a brother, Ron Oosterheert. He will be be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Joyce; children, Rick and Dawn Oosterheert, Robb and Joy Oosterheert; grandchildren, Brendan and Erika, Bryce and Kaila, Brett, Brooke, Sam, Jesse, and Addy; sister, Shirley and Jay Van Dyken; brother, Glenn and Betty Oosterheert; sister-in-law, Evelyn Oosterheert; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Foster and Edie Rooks; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Byron Center Protestant Reformed Church, 1945 84th St. SW, Byron Center with Professor Russell Dykstra officiating. Burial will take place at Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday, April 25, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
