Our prayers are with the McDonald family. Rob was a great guy that enjoyed humor. Mike enjoyed working with Rob and the many hobo dinners. Reconnecting with the McDonald kids was fun! God's peace for you all.

Where to begin...I’ve known Rob since I was a gangly freckle faced 11 year old girl. We had a mostly pleasant relationship, and I learned a lot from Rob over the years, and as I look back over the years, I am flooded with many cherished memories of him.
Everyone who knew Rob, knew that he always had a joke to tell. He was the first real hippie I ever got to meet, and he was proud to share that with everyone he met. He wore silly hats, and drove a bright orange El Camino. He was the driving force behind my love for all types of music, and for my fascination of history, that continues to this day. My absolute favorite memories of Rob, are of our trip to Gettysburg, and Washington D.C. ....Rob took me to a not very well known spot behind the Lincoln Memorial, where during the evening hours you could see the Eternal Flame burning brightly at JFK’s gravesite in Arlington National Cemetery. He was proud of his service to our country, and was proud of all his children, and grand children whom I know he loved dearly. He will be sorely missed, and I’m proud to have had him in my life. I know the first thing he did when he got through heavens gates, is hugged his mom and brother, and I know I’ll see him again someday!
