Every now and then the Sunday paper hits me hard. Today was one of those days.
Bob was a year behind me in school, but we spent a lot of time together in the late 60s.
Berlin Raceway, US131 Drags, Chickee Drive Inn, Holland State Park or just having a few beers. We were busy growing up together.
Time moves on, we get married, drift apart but I have thought of Bob (Rags) many times over the years. He looks the same just a little grayer.
I found him on Facebook, but never reached out. Now I wish I would have.
Rest in Peace good buddy

My thoughts & prayers go out to Judy, John, Jeff, Jennifer, the grand kids and all of the many close friends that loved Bob so much. May you draw together to find comfort after the untimely passing of such a good man. One thing is for sure, a person could never find a better friend than "Hooky".
