Robert Leroy Koegler, age 85, of Wyoming, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019. He was born to Arnold and Elaine Koegler of Ludington, MI. As a young boy, his first job was delivering papers and later he worked at a bowling alley.  Bob then worked at Armand Lyons Grocery Store. He proudly served our country in the US Army, stationed in Germany. After serving in the Army, he married the love of his life Joyce. Bob began working for the C & O in Ludington. He then moved to Grand Rapids, where he worked for CSX Railroad. He loved going to the casino with his wife, Joyce and working crossword puzzles. He was a very generous and giving person. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christy Al-Jouhy. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Joyce; daughter, Laine Goulooze; grandchildren, Abe Al-Jouhy, Steve Goulooze, Ryan Goulooze, Rachelle and Cordero McGee; 8 grandchildren; brother, Keith Koegler; sister, Sharon Bonser; sister-in-law, Teckla Koegler; cousins, nieces and nephews. According to Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Guiding Light, any animal shelter, or a food bank of your choice.
