Robert L. Briggs Sr, age 80, of Byron Center, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 8, 2024. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Briggs; sister-in-law, Alice Jean Jarvis. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Pat; children, Douglas Briggs, Robert Jr. and Bethny Briggs, Amy Briggs; grandchildren, Ange and Sonny, Sarah, Kodey and Sarah, Annie, Nick and Bella, Jakob and fiance Madison, Brooke, Robert III, William, and Bentley; 5 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Judie Muzzall, Vicki and Richard Pinder, Greg and Carrie Karol; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, June 17 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming. Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family 10-11 at the funeral home prior to the service.
