Robert “Bob” James Patt, age 98, of Walker, went to be with his family in heaven on Friday, May 20, 2022. Robert proudly served his country during World War II in the Navy. He retired from the Navy after 21 years of service and after that, Robert continued to serve by working closely with Veterans Affairs. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorcas; stepson, John Farrell; sisters, Mary Louise Smith, Rosemary Gabourie; brothers-in-law, Robert Smith, and David Gabourie. He will be lovingly remembered by his stepdaughter, Sherry Baker; two grandchildren; nephew, Tom (Colleen) Smith; niece, Toni (Tom) Guy; and his great-nieces and great-nephews. A private family service will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Operation Injured Soldiers or The Heroes Operation.
