Robert Dale Parker Jr.

Robert Dale Parker Jr., age 39, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 15, 2023. He was born on December 14, 1983 in Grand Rapids. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Robert Sr. and Deb Parker; children, Ty, Logan and Adalyn Parker; siblings, Tony (Melody) Henigan, Sherry (Nathan) VanVugt, Tina (Kirk) Burns, Julie Parker, Marie Parker; nieces and nephews, Kellie Service, Jacob Service, Sequoya Henigan, Anthony Henigan, Parker Henigan, Hannah VanVugt, Brayden VanVugt, Kellah VanVugt, Kalvin Burns, Jayla Littlejohn, Makenna Littlejohn, Braelynn Parker, Brynn Parker, Ryder Hall; special aunts, Kim Blair, Diane Hoff; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Lynn Parker; sister, Dana Henigan; and his grandparents. Robert graduated from Kelloggsville High School in 2002. Recently he worked at Spectrum Industries where he was a dedicated and respected employee. Robert treasured spending time with his family and was a favored uncle by many. He had a caring heart and looked for ways to help others. He was a kid at heart and will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Memorial services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 26 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Wayne Ondersma officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, August 25 from 4-7 pm at the funeral home and on Saturday from 10-11 am before services. A private family burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The DOCK Ministries or Exodus Place.
