Robert Church

CHURCH - Mr. Robert "Hillbilly" Church aged 70, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011 surrounded by his family. Robert was born on Oct. 3, 1940 in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Diane; father, Elmer Church; mother, Virginia VanNoller; sister, Margaret (Thomas) Bellamy. Surviving are his children, Kathy (Brian) Vogel, Kim O'Connor, Kelly Church, Karyn (Geno) Martineau, Chasity (Robert) Harding; grandchildren, Dylan O'Connor, Jessica Allmon, Kennedy O'Connor, Madison and Marissa Miller, Beylea Hudson, Derrien Webb; step-mother, Jean Warren; close friends, Rick and Jan Carroll; Scott Bertolini. Robert enjoyed his career and the lasting friendships he formed as a truck driver. He retired as a member of Teamsters Local 406 and from USF Holland. Per his request, cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions in Robert's memory may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice or The American Lung Association.
