Robert Brown

Robert E. Brown, age 99, of West Olive, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Shirley; son, Roy Brown; and granddaughter, Rhonda Brown. Robert was a WWII veteran who proudly served his country in the U.S. Army/Air Force. He was a life-long truck driver, retiring from Big Dutchman after many years of faithful service. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Randall (Paula) Brown, Robin Brown, Ross (Fran) Brown, Rick (Francine) Brown; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Wes Brown; sister, Judy Gerber; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Warren and Viola Drooger, David and Lynn Drooger, Jim and Judy Drooger, Tim and Marge Drooger, Doris Drooger, Marjorie Schaap; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 6 pm at LifeTree Community Church, 10933 Lake Michigan Dr., West Olive, with Pastor Jeff Elzinga officiating. Burial Robinson Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 4-6 pm at LifeTree Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Fountain View Assisted Living in Coopersville.
