Robert “Bob” J. Boes, age 65, of Wyoming, went to be with Jesus on Friday, November 14, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Clara Boes; his son, Dustin; brother, Al Boes.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Kimberly Demmink; his children, Maranda and Ryan Horvath, Robert and Stephanie Boes, Adam Delnay, and his fur kid, EllieMae; sisters, Sandy and Steve Robart, Sheila and Don Mergener; sister-in-law, Bonnie and Randy DeHaan; several nieces.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Thursday, November 20, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert, officiating.  Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday 1 to 2 pm prior to the service.   Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Kent County Animal Shelter or Harbor Humane Society.

I’ll never forget the first time I met Bob — or as we all called him, “SpongeBob.” He had this amazing way of making everyone laugh and feel welcome. Some of my favorite memories are riding the golf cart with Bob, Kim, and Elliemae. And of course, those boat rides on the lake… it just won’t ever be the same without him. Bob brought so much joy, humor, and heart into our lives, and we will miss him more than words can say. We love you, Bob — and Kim, we love you too. Sending all our love and comfort.

Bobby was my cousin and I will never ever forget him he was the best of the very best. I will always remember him putting me on his shoulders and riding that unicycle up and down the street. I love you Bobby you will be missed...

He was such a nice guy always willing to say hi and took great care of his lawn and Ellimae. He will definitely be missed. My thoughts are with you and your family. If you need anything I'm right next door.
