Robert Berkenpas

Robert Lee Berkenpas, age 87, of Cutlerville, went home to be with his Lord, on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Leona; his son-in-law, Hubert Russo. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Bob and Deb Berkenpas, Judy Berkenpas, Kathy Russo, Nancy and Kerry Andrews, Amy and Jerry Dunn; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brothers, Willard  Berkenpas, Lester Berkenpas; sisters, Jean and Pete Visser, Gladys and Allen Vanniman; sister-in-law, Ann Berkenpas; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Cutlerville East Christian Reformed Church, 501 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Allan Jongsma officiating.  Interment Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Potter’s House Christian Schools.
